Lisa Loucks-Christenson has completed her seven-book series, VALENTINE'S ADVENTURES, which will be released as art books starting this summer, with picture books (art and text) following in the fall of 2025. During 2021 and 2022,  the past year, Lisa created more than 224 illustrations for this series, with each book containing at least 32 original watercolor illustrations, some incorporating ink or pencil. 

Book Seven introduces Allie the Starling, and many of Lisa's customers already own art pieces from these books. The VALENTINE'S ADVENTURES Exhibit is currently on display at the store.

In June 2022, Lisa rescued a flightless orphan starling, which she named Allie. Unable to find its mother or nest, and concerned for its safety due to nearby construction, Lisa took the bird home. Over the past nine months, Allie has befriended Lisa's cat, dog, and rabbits, forming a particularly close bond with Valentine the Chihuahua. The real Valentine and Allie have been photographed sharing breakfast together, posing with their new series book cover painted by Lisa Loucks-Christenson. At present, there are no plans for an ebook version due to concerns about ongoing theft of Lisa's work. Physical copies of the art and books are available for purchase with a non-commercial usage license exclusively in the Lisa Loucks-Christenson Network, which includes Peacock Books & Wildlife Art.
